With the release of his debut album "Origins" in 2022 and a collaborative EP "COMPOUND" in 2023 Rex Arcum started to turn heads and bring together fans of rap/hip-hop and rock/metal throughout Ireland, the U.K. and beyond. Rex Arcum released his debut album "Origins" in 2022 and was followed by a remix EP featuring a host of artists including Brody, Andrew Southworth, MNERVA, Keeper and Processor. Origins received over 150,000 streams within 12 months. In 2023 Rex Arcum teamed up with Cork based hip-hop artist Syano to release "COMPOUND" a 4-track EP which received has received over 75,000 streams, had a sold-out release show and was featured in numerous press outlets including Nialler 9, Golden Plec, NOTION and RTE.ie.

Rex Arcum's single "LOTTO BOY" received airplay on Cork's RedFM, Dublin's Near FM and over 120 international radio stations.

Sharing the stage with drummer Ciaran Nevin, bassist Chris La Motte and newly joined guitarist Mia Brophy, Rex Arcum is quickly becoming known for his explosive and memorable live performances. Since playing his debut show at Legends, Edinburgh in August 2022, Rex Arcum has played numerous shows to successfully engage both rap/hip-hop and rock/metal audiences. Shows include Absent Emo Night and Absent Hip-Hop night in the Cellar Bar - Galway, Cork Rising 2023 in Cyprus Avenue - Cork, Outkastz in The Workman’s Cellar - Dublin and a sold-out headline show in Fred Zeppelin’s, Cork.
